Roasted capsicum (diced)
Roasted capsicum is bell pepper that has been charred and roasted until its skin blisters, which is then peeled away to reveal soft, sweet, smoky flesh. It is used in salads, sandwiches, dips, and sauces, with roasting significantly mellowing and sweetening its flavour compared to the raw vegetable. It is commonly sold jarred in oil for convenience.
Dicing cuts an ingredient into small, even cubes, which pack differently into a cup than slices or larger chopped pieces.
