Sauerkraut (drained)

Sauerkraut is finely shredded cabbage that has been fermented in its own juices with salt, resulting in a tangy, sour flavour and a slightly crisp texture. It is eaten as a condiment or side dish, particularly alongside sausages and in German cooking, and can also be cooked into dishes like choucroute. Its sourness develops and deepens the longer it ferments.

Draining removes excess liquid, so a drained measurement is lighter and less liquid-heavy than an undrained one.
