Sea salt flakes (loosely packed)

Sea salt flakes are large, irregular, pyramid-shaped salt crystals formed through the evaporation of seawater, prized for their delicate crunch and burst of flavour. They are used as a finishing salt, sprinkled over dishes just before serving rather than dissolved into cooking, adding texture as well as seasoning. Their larger, flakier crystals dissolve more slowly on the tongue than fine table salt.

Loosely packed means the ingredient is added to the cup without pressing it down, leaving air pockets that make it weigh less than the same amount firmly packed.
