Sugar snap peas (whole)

Sugar snap peas are a variety of pea with a thick, edible, crisp pod that stays sweet and tender even as the peas inside develop, unlike shelling peas. They are eaten raw as a snack, or lightly steamed, stir-fried, or blanched, retaining a satisfying crunch when not overcooked. Their entire pod, unlike snow peas, is fuller and rounder due to the developed peas inside.

Measured whole and unprepared, before any chopping, slicing, or other processing changes its density.
