Sultanas
Sultanas are dried, pale-coloured, seedless grapes, similar to raisins but generally lighter in colour and slightly more tart. They are used in baking, particularly in fruit cakes, scones, and puddings, as well as in some savoury dishes for a sweet contrast. Their softer, plumper texture compared to raisins comes from the specific grape variety used.
