Tahini
Tahini is a smooth paste made from ground, hulled sesame seeds, with a rich, nutty, slightly bitter flavour. It is a key ingredient in hummus and baba ganoush, used as a dressing base, or drizzled over roasted vegetables and desserts. Its oil often separates during storage and needs stirring before use, similar to natural nut butters.
