Toffee pieces
Toffee pieces are small, broken or chopped fragments of hardened toffee candy, made by cooking sugar and butter together until caramelised and firm. They are used as a crunchy, sweet mix-in for cookies, cakes, and ice cream, adding pockets of buttery caramel flavour throughout a dish. Their firm, brittle texture is distinct from softer caramel or toffee sauces.
