Verjuice (liquid)
Verjuice is a tart, acidic liquid made from the pressed juice of unripe grapes, used as a milder alternative to vinegar or lemon juice in cooking. It is used in dressings, sauces, and deglazing pans, offering acidity without the sharper bite of vinegar. It is a traditional ingredient in French and some Middle Eastern cooking.
As a free-flowing liquid, this ingredient fills a measuring cup with no trapped air pockets, so its weight is close to a straightforward density calculation.
