Vitamin C powder
Vitamin C powder, or ascorbic acid, is a crystalline powder used in cooking and preserving as an antioxidant to prevent browning in cut fruit and as an acidulant in some recipes. It is also used in small amounts in bread baking to strengthen dough. Its sour taste means it is generally used in small, controlled quantities rather than as a primary flavouring.
