Watercress (loosely packed)
Watercress is a leafy aquatic plant with small, tender leaves and a peppery, slightly bitter flavour similar to a milder version of mustard greens. It is eaten raw in salads and sandwiches, or lightly wilted into soups, with its peppery bite fading somewhat when cooked. Its delicate leaves are more perishable than heartier salad greens.
Loosely packed means the ingredient is added to the cup without pressing it down, leaving air pockets that make it weigh less than the same amount firmly packed.
