Weetbix (crushed)

Weetbix is a branded whole wheat breakfast biscuit cereal, formed into compressed rectangular blocks that soften when milk is added. It is eaten as a breakfast cereal, sometimes crushed and used in baking for a wheaty, fibre-rich addition. Its dense, compact form means it takes up less volume relative to its weight than flaked cereals.

Crushing breaks an ingredient into irregular fragments, which can pack either more loosely or more densely than the whole form depending on fragment size.
