White whole wheat flour
White whole wheat flour is made from a lighter-coloured variety of whole wheat, milled to retain the bran and germ like standard whole wheat flour but with a milder flavour and lighter colour. It is used as a less assertive substitute for regular whole wheat flour in baking, providing similar fibre and nutritional content with a softer texture and taste. It behaves similarly to standard whole wheat flour in most recipes.
